The Little Place looks forward to offering informative sessions for parents to share and discuss topics such as:
Breastfeeding Support & Weaning
Talk to a lactation specialist and fellow moms about the “Life Cycle of Breastfeeding” from the beginning of that nursing journey, to maintaining a supply, the struggles that may come with the dependency of nursing with sleep and other daily comforts, extended breastfeeding, as well as weaning and transitioning to milk.
Nutrition and Introduction to Food
Food and mealtime are different for every family, and in the end, you’re the expert of your own child. Topics help cover getting baby ready for solids and when your baby should start; what foods to serve, appropriate food sizes; chocking hazards and keeping baby safe; allergenic foods and nutrition; scheduling milk feeds; making food fun, and more!
Preparing for baby… and second baby!
A newborn baby may not come with an instruction manual, but this class will help new parents feel a little more prepared for their little one’s arrival. This class covers many aspects of newborn care, post-partum adjustment, and the transition into parenthood. Expectant parents will engage in informative discussions and practice the hands-on skills needed to care for a newborn, giving you the confidence to journey into parenthood.
Furthermore, wouldn’t it be great to get insight on what to expect when your second one comes along? How do you balance time with each child? How do you work with different schedules? Managing time with your loved one and self-care? Listen to other parents share their experience.
